Mini Masters Handbook


MINI MASTERS .. is part of the "Eastern Kung Fu & Kickboxing Academy" family.

EKKA's main classes of Kung Fu & Sport Kickboxing takes new young students; at the age of 9 years and above.

 This was agreed, because the two styles need students to be able to accept the level of discipline and concentration that each of the main classes have come to demand.

EKKA - Kung Fu and Sport Kickboxing was joint founded in 1997; by Gavin and Jacqui.And became part of WUMA in 2008.

Both already come from martial arts experienced backgrounds :-

 Gavin, studied Lau - Gar Kung Fu, BCKA Sport Kickboxing and Lau - Gar Sport Kickboxing at his many different (due to work); training locations in :

 Scotland, Shropshire, Lincolnshire, Cyprus and Northamptonshire; and now Norfolk.

Gradings achieved to-date :

 Lau-Gar Kung Fu 1st Degree Black Sash, BCKA 1st Degree Black Belt, EKKA 2nd Degree Black Belt and EKKA 3rd Degree Black Sash.

Jacqui, studied Lau-Gar Sport Kickboxing and BCKA Sport Kickboxing; also at many different locations (due to work) :

Shropshire, Lincolnshire, Cyprus and Northamptonshire;

from '89 until today.

Gradings achieved to-date :

BCKA 1st degree Black Belt, EKKA 3rd Degree Black Belt


Both, have represented BCKA England; and have over 100 trophies from "Semi-Contact" competition sparring between them.

What Our Classes Offer

MINI MASTERS; was introduced, to EKKA; for the younger martial artist.

It was introduced for 5yr to 8yr olds.

It caters for Boys and Girls that want to learn the basics of martial arts and have fun.

As well as learning to Kick, Punch, Block, Tumble, Set Routines and Shadow Sparring.

They will : Play games (Controlled) and do some role play.

Our Curriculum will also be covering :

Respect, Discipline, Loyalty, Courtesy, Fire Safety, Balance, Exercise, Memory, Health, Listening, Co-Operation, Basic First Aid, Stranger Danger, Traffic Safety, Home Safety, Dangerous Substances, Nutrition and Honesty.

Do Not Leave Premises, Without An Arranged Adult

Show Respect

Always arrive 5 - 10 minutes, before class is due to start.


 

Always arrive at the class room, with an adult.

If hoping to pay per lesson; register and pay at the desk, before the beginning of class.

At the end of class; all children are gathered back into a group. The group will be excused; where they will bow together before leaving.

Known Parent(s) or guardians; MUST sign their child out

at the end of the class.
